We are the only national charity dedicated to helping deaf and hard of hearing people through medical research. Here at Deafness Research UK, we don't receive any government funding, your support is essential to our work.

For 24 year old Charlotte, of Skipton, Yorkshire, living with a hearing impairment has always been part of her life.

Believing that not enough is known about tinnitus, Charlotte supports Deafness Research UK in raising awareness of the condition and finding cures and treatments.

At Deafness Research UK, we are dedicated to securing radical improvements in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all forms of hearing impairment.

Supported entirely by voluntary contributions, we aim to: Support high quality medical and scientific research, which meets the needs of hearing impaired people and the research community.Educate people about medical issues relating to deafness and other hearing problems, offering information and advice based on the most up-to-date and reliable evidence available.
