Boston tip is owned and operated by Lincolnshire county council, Boston Recycling Centre allows you to dispose of the following items here:
- Batteries, Books, Car batteries
- Cardboard, Cooking oil
- Fluorescent tubes/Light bulbs
- Food tins and drinks cans
- Fridges and freezers, Garden waste
- Gas bottles, Hardcore and rubble
- Household and garden chemicals
- Mattresses, Mixed glass bottles and jars
- Mixed textiles and clothes, Paper
- Mobile phones, Plasterboard
- Plastics, Printer cartridges
- Scrap metal, Small appliances
- Soil, TVs and monitors
- Used engine oil, Wood and timber
Items that are not accepted:
- No commercial waste is allowed
- No clinical waste is allowed
- No asbestos-based material is allowed
- Soil, hardcore and plasterboard are not classified as household waste, but residents may bring 1 dustbin full per person per day.
The site is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
