North Shore Transfer Station

North Shore Transfer Station is owned by Vancouver City Council, North Vancouver transfer station allows you to dispose of the following items here:

 

  • Batteries
  • Beverage containers
  • Cellular phones
  • Cooking oil
  • Corrugated Cardboard
  • Electronics
  • Expanded polystyrene (also known as Styrofoam) – coloured
  • Film packaging
  • Glass packaging
  • Gasoline (must be in approved ULC container. Limit 25L per container)
  • Lamps and light fixtures
  • Metals: Scrap metal, metal appliances, outdoor power equipment, metal packaging
  • Oil filters
  • Paint products and solvents
  • Recyclable paper and paper packaging
  • Pesticides (must be in original labelled container. Limit 10L per container)
  • Plastic packaging
  • Propane tanks
  • Small appliances and power tools
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
  • Thermostats
