Sandwell Tip is owned and operated by Sandwell Metropolitan Council, Sandwell Recycling Centre allows you to dispose of the following items here:

- Florescent tubes and energy saving light bulbs (limit 10 tubes)
- Gas bottles (not small “disposable” helium balloon cylinders – these will need to be emptied and placed in the scrap metal bay after all excess gas is released) Two bottles maximum per month

- Carpets
- Plasterboard (eight bags or 200kg maximum per month)

- Tyres (4 non-commercial vehicle tyres maximum per month)

- Bric-a-brac – reusable household items (mobile van – not always onsite)
