To many people an empty printer cartridge is just waste, Right? actually Wrong, OK it is not exactly treasure but it is a raw material. Most cartridges can be refilled at least once so it really is a waste to throw them in the bin. Not only a massive waste of cash but consider the environmental impact that this kind of waste has.
Empty cartridges contain many different chemicals within the plastics and metal they are made from. These materials will take hundreds of years to decompose, that's if they ever do. Recycling ink cartridges through our scheme is an ideal way of interrupting the landfill cycle. All the ink cartridges we collect are either recycled by way of remanufacture or recycled for their plastics and scrap metals.
