Hawkesbury Tip is owned and operated by Hawkesbury City Council, Hawkesbury Recycling Centre allows you to dispose of the following items here:
- Kerbside recyclables (e.g. plastic bottles and containers, cans, aluminium, glass bottles and jars, milk and juice bottles, etc)
- Paper and unwaxed cardboard
- Scrap metal
- Sump oil (to be poured into the designated holding tank)
- Car batteries (lead acid)
- TV and Computer Equipment
Chargeable Items:
- General domestic waste
- Building & Demolition waste (no asbestos)
- Bricks and Concrete
- Garden Organics/Vegetation
- Mattresses
- Tyres motorbike/passenger car or smaller (maximum of 5 tyres per load)
- Other materials as specified
