- electrical equipment, fluorescent tubes, fridges, freezers
- household batteries
- car batteries
- wood
- scrap metal
- bicycles (please see recycle and reuse A to Z)
- car oil
- fire extinguishers, gas bottles (please see chargeable waste prices)
- bonded asbestos (please see chargeable waste prices)
- chemicals, paint (household only)
- general landfill waste
Items that cannot be recycled in the recycling centre:
- petrol
- diesel
- paraffin
- pesticides and chemicals from farms or industry
- poisons
- tyres
- printer cartridges
