Helensvale Recycling Centre is managed by the city of gold coast, Helensvale Recycling allows you to dispose of the following items here:
- car batteries (lead acid)
- cardboard
- charity donation bins
- comingled recyclables (yellow top bins) – aluminium cans, paper, plastic and glass bottles
- concrete (small domestic loads only)
- cooking oil (up to 20 litres)
- domestic green waste
- Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB)
- eWaste
- gas bottles – empty (up to 9 kilograms)
- household hazardous waste, e.g. paint, pool chlorine, herbicides, fuel, oven cleaners, etc. (up to 20 litres)
- motor oil
- scrap metal
- soil and clean fill (road base and clay base only – small domestic loads only)
- white goods (degassing available).
