Malaga Recycling Centre

Malaga Recycling Centre is owned and operated by the City Of Swan, The following items and materials can be taken to the Malaga Recycling Facility.

  • Batteries (dry cell & car/motorcycle)
  • Brick rubble
  • Cardboard & Paper
  • Clothing
  • Containers (cans & bottles, plastic & glass).
  • E-Waste (computers, monitors & televisions)
  • Fluorescent or CFL Tubes/bulbs
  • Green Waste (less than 1.5m length & less than 300mm diameter).
  • Household and Office Furniture.
  • Mattresses (limited to five per drop)
  • Metal (excludes car bodies and car parts)
  • Mixed plastics
  • Mobile phones
  • Polystyrene (foam) packaging (no ‘foam balls’ or ‘popcorn’)
  • Printer cartridges
  • Tyres – charges apply (only passenger and 4×4 tyres accepted)
  • Untreated and unpainted Timber (no MDF or CCA treated products)
  • Used Oil (limit 20L per resident)
  • White Goods (fridges, freezers, dishwashers, ovens)
