The site is closed on Wednesdays, so plan your visit for other days when it opens early at 8:30 AM. While standard household recycling is free, there are specific weekly limits on DIY waste like soil and hardcore. It is a very user-friendly site that serves the Settle and wider North Yorkshire community efficiently.
