Taupo Dump is owned and operated by Taupo District Council, Taupo Recycling Centre allows you to dispose of the following items here:
- All the recyclables you put in your green bin (plastics 1 and 2 only)
- Green waste
- Electronic waste (e-waste) – see details below
- White ware
- Scrap metal including well washed paint tins
- Car batteries and car bodies
- Paint
- Agricultural chemicals – domestic quantities only (no commerical)
- Domestic quantities of waste oil (20 litres)
