Hanford Tip is owned and operated by Staffordshire County Council, Hanford Recycling Centre allows you to dispose of the following items here:

  • energy efficient light bulbs (not old style)

  • glass (bottles and jars only – no sheet glass, Pyrex or drinking glasses)
  • large domestic appliances
  • newspapers, magazines, catalogues and junk mail
  • paint
  • plastic household containers
  • scrap metal
  • shoes
  • televisions and monitors
  • textiles – clothes and accessories
  • white and brown cardboard
